The route – five stages, one big goal
From Wels to Tarifa, by ferry to Morocco and then along the west coast of Africa. Our route takes us through Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria and Angola to Victoria Falls and on through Namibia to Cape Town.
The journey is planned in five major stages. But one thing is certain: you can plan a lot of things. What the actual route will look like in the end will only become clear along the way.
Roads, borders, weather, encounters and unforeseen challenges will write their own part of the story.
Join us on this journey and experience with us the people we meet, the places we discover, the challenges that await us – and the special moments that cannot be planned.

The return journey – East Africa
back to Wels
From Cape Town, the route takes us back north along the east coast of Africa – through South Africa, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, and Tanzania. We continue through Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya, then via Ethiopia and Sudan to Egypt. Finally, we leave Africa via Libya and Tunisia, taking a ferry to Sicily.
The final leg leads back to Austria via Italy and the Adriatic coast.
Our destination: Wels.
But this journey should leave behind more than thousands of kilometers on the odometer. Every kilometer should give children new opportunities.
With your support, we want to raise awareness, inspire people, and collect donations for our charity project along this journey.
