Chancengross has been supporting various projects in Cape Town for many years – particularly in the townships of Lavender Hill and Khayelitsha. In Lavender Hill, we are helping to establish an education center for around 500 children and young people. It will create a place where children and young people can learn, develop, and gain new perspectives for their future. In Khayelitsha, Chancengross supports the provision of regular meals for children. Because education and development can only function if children's basic needs are met.
With your support, we can continue this work and together make a huge contribution to children and young people in Cape Town. Every bit of support helps. Every donation creates opportunities. Every partnership can change the future.
As we have mentioned several times, it is truly incredible what has happened in the last 20 years (especially in the last 10). For the first few years, we were active in Kasambara and accomplished a great deal there as well. But for the last 10 years, the heart of "Schilling for Shilling" has been in Majimoto. Kerstin Geyer has done invaluable work. Our school, the church, guesthouses, chicken farm, sponsored children, care packages, and of course the clinic of our partner organization from Switzerland, the Rhein Valley Hospital, have grown into a magnificent and impressive aid project in Kenya. We have made life more worth living for so many people. We have helped blind people see the light of day again, provided hearing-impaired children with the necessary hearing aids, given glasses to people with vision problems, and helped sick people with life-saving operations. We have enabled over 600 children to attend school and provide them with the necessary supplies.
